Phoenix Personal Injury Lawyer Chris Zachar Interview Video 6 – How long will my case take?

Ken of “Greater Phoenix Attorney at Law Magazine” interviews Phoenix personal injury lawyer Chris Zachar on being selected Solo Practitioner Of The Month, November 2010:

Ken: I am sure a lot of people approach you with questions “Do I have a case?” ” Do I need to appear in court?”, “Does this take weeks?” “Does it take years?” What are some of the things that people call you and ask on terms of just initial advice when they are seeking personal injury attorney?

Chris Zachar: Good question and there are a lot of questions I get asked when people are seeking a personal injury attorney, and one of the first questions is “how long is this going to take?” and that answer varies depending on the individual and varies on the case. If it is someone who has just been involved in an some sort of accident. a motor vehicle collision or a slip and fall, or something like that, largely the amount of time it is going to take to begin the system to resolve the case is going to depend on what type of injury they sustained, how long those injuries are going to take to treat and heal, whether that person is going to have any residual or permanent or ongoing problem thereafter, how long it is going to put the damages case together and we wouldn’t even consider beginning to talk about a case resolution until we know that the injuries are resolved or we know exactly what that person, more likely then not, is left with from that point forward. It is not an easy question to answer. More often than not, that question cannot be answered up front because everybody is different, everybody’s physical makeup is different, everybody heals differently, and that is what I explain to my clients when they come in.
